Happy Hump Day! I can't believe tomorrow is August 1st.  My kids go back to school in less than 2 weeks.  This summer has just flown by!

This week I've been working on cards with the new Stampin Up Dinoroar set.  The DSP is full of bright colors, which I love, and these dinosaurs are just too cute!  Hard to believe these were once big and scary creatures!

These are perfect for kid cards, or even the kid-at-heart adult!

Bright and Cheerful Summer Sampler

I am not really a summer person-I love the idea of summer but I do not like the heat AT ALL!  My day job requires I drive around a lot so I am in and out of my car, and it is amazing how hot a car can become after even a few minutes.  That's why I like fall and winter-it's easier to warm up than to cool down, just sayin'...

Anyway, I made this sampler for my sampler class next week.  I used lots of bright colors and all kinds of fun summer scenes.  I can't take total credit for all of it.  I CASED it from a pin on Pinterest, but I can't give credit to the original poster.  The pin did not link back to a website. I did change a few of the squares and the title block.

Hello There card

Hi everyone!  Today I am bringing you a card I have created using the new I Say Hello Stamp Set and Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper.  I have fallen in love with this DSP with all the beautiful colors and artwork. 

Products needed:

Pool Party card base-4 1/4 inches by 11 inches, scored at 5 1/2 inches
Feather DSP is cut at 4 by 4 inches
Pineapple Punch cardstock cut at 2 3/4 by 3 inches
Whisper White cardstock cut at 2 1/2 by 2 3/4 inches
Scraps of Calypso Coral, Old Olive, and Pool Party cardstock
Whisper White Twine
Basic Gray Ink
Pool Party ink
Stampin Dimensionals

Stamp the sentiment "hello there" with Basic Gray on the Whisper White cardstock.  Stamp the dash line corner stamp at each corner with Pool Party.  Attach the DSP to the card with your favorite adhesive.  Wrap Whisper White twine around the card twice and tie in a bow or a knot.  Cut the scraps of Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Pool Party 5/8 inch wide by 1 1/4 inch long.  Cut a banner flag as shown.  Attach the stamped cardstock on the Pineapple Punch cardstock with Stampin Dimensionals.   Attach one Stampin Dimensional on the back of each banner piece and attach to the card underneath the Pineapple Punch.

Birthday Cards!

Happy Monday!  One of my goals this year is to send out more cards-I keep making cards but not giving them away.  Can you relate?  This weekend I created 2 birthday cards and my younger daughter snagged one of them to give to her teacher for her birthday today.

Perennial Birthday is definitely one of my favorite stamp sets.  I love the font of the large "HAPPY BIRTHDAY".
